Drawer Slide Construction Materials

 

We use a combination of standard lightweight materials for the manufacture of each drawer slide unit in an effort to reduce overall weight while still maintaining strength and durability.

All Aluminium Constuction

  • Base frame fabricated from 50mm x 3mm aluminium angle

  • Drawer slider fabricated from lightweight 3,5mm/4,0mm "checker plate" aluminium

  • Light duty sliders - 45 kg loading with full pull-out lengths of 300mm to 700mm

  • Medium duty sliders - 65 kg loading with full pullout lengths of 400mm to 550mm

  • Heavy duty sliders - 90 kg loading with full pull-out lengths from 300mm to 1000mm

  • Extra heavy duty sliders - 180 kg loading with full pullout lengths of 450mm to 1430mm

  • Slider widths from 400mm up to 1200mm

  • "In transit" anti loose locking mechanism

  • Robust "U" type grab handle tie down points both front and rear

  • Suitable for floor mounting in most off road vehicles
